BEVERAGES THAT CAN HELP YOU CONTROL DIABETES

Diabetes is a metabolic disease in which there is a constant increase of blood sugar for a long period of time. People in this era mostly of early 50s or late 40s are the most affected by diabetes. People do not take diabetes seriously, for which the blood sugar level keeps increasing and people face the dangerous consequences later when the disease has totally eaten the patient’s body, there are few beverages that can be included in your daily meals or suppers to control or lower the blood sugar level, including the medications provided by your doctor. 


In this blog , we will have a look at few beverages that will help you maintain the blood sugar level or the beverages that one can take even he is suffering from diabetes.


WATER


Yes, one can easily find water to drink , and it is the best way to stay hydrated because many of the diabetes patient dehydrate a lot and it also increases the urinal process from which excess glucose drains out with our urine. By which the blood sugar level will not increase. Or sparkling water which is taken by most of the sportsmen, to maintain the blood sugar level but it is highly expensive , for which many people can not afford the drink. 


Tea


Many of the scientists have proven that drinking green tea has a good effect on human body’s health even if a person drinks green tea regularly 2-3 times a day, it wont affect rather it helps to lower the risks of type 2 diabetes.
Whether you choose green, black, herbal, or black lemon tea you should always avoid sweeteners.


Coffee


A group of scientists in 2012 studied that if a person drink black coffee without any sweetener, it helps diabetes patients to lower the risks of developing type 2 diabetes, and this study was for both caffeinated and decaffeinated coffees. But if caffeine makes you feel ill or dizzy than its not for you and if not than you are good to go. 


Vegetable Juice


If you are not fond of bitter vegetables than you can skip this drink.
Most of the vegetables that are not grown or picked from underground can be juiced and can be included in your daily meal, because green vegetables mostly provide vitamins and minerals which makes you control the blood sugar level upto some extent. 
Example: Bitter gourd, cucumber, celery and other leafy vegetables.


Low fat milk


Diary products have helpful minerals, but they contain a lot of carbohydrates which is not good for your diet, every time you drink milk it should be skimmed and unsweetened. Otherwise it can cause the increase of blood sugar level.   


Sugar free sodas


Sugar free soda is not the drink that you take regularly but you can have twice or thrice a week because it contains 99% of water which is almost equivalent to water. This is one of the caffeine free option.
